What it is
Virtonomics is a business simulation in which you run companies - factories, shops, farms, labs and more - in a shared economy with thousands of other players across several realms. Each turn is a game day: you set production, prices, hiring and marketing whenever suits you, and the server recalculates everyone's results in a daily update; you can even found a party and run for president of a country. Launched in 2006, it is free to play with paid premium options and has companion iOS and Android apps.
