What it is
The West is InnoGames' Wild West browser RPG, released in April 2008. You pick one of four classes (worker, adventurer, duelist, soldier), work jobs and quest chains on a graphical map, duel other players and join a town whose alliances fight over forts. Worlds run for years - the English site lists worlds opened from 2010 to 2026, including short speed worlds - and the game is free with optional paid premium periods.
