What it is
The Rockstar Game is a free browser band-management sim first launched in 2001 and rebuilt from scratch in 2026. Your band earns three points an hour around the clock; you spend them writing songs, recording with producers, releasing singles, EPs and albums, promoting them and touring fifteen markets with their own genre tastes, while rivalries and collaborations pit you against other bands. One real day is one game week: charts, sales and streams recompile at 11:30pm UK time every night, and three-month seasons end in an awards ceremony without ever wiping the world. Donations and Patreon give a few points but there is no points shop.
