What it is
Hyperiums is a classic text-based space strategy game in which you administer planets, trade between them, research ships and either infiltrate rival planets quietly or invade them outright, all against other players in real time. Alliances, spying, hypergate ambushes and piracy drive the diplomacy, and the universe persists for long rounds: the current one-year game started in January 2026, with shorter three-month games also on the schedule. Play is free, but the site's HTTPS certificate is not trusted by default browsers.
