What it is
Core-Exiles is a long-running browser space game that is almost entirely player-versus-environment. As captain of a small ship you take combat or hauling missions, mine asteroids, salvage wrecks, craft devices and ships, and later run settlements and starbases, trading with other players on a market and chatting on a Discord server. Accounts are free, a store sells ship tokens, upgrades and other extras, and the developer was still answering newcomers in the forums in August 2026.
