What it is
SpaceCiv is an early-access browser 4X set in one shared, procedurally generated galaxy. Commanders claim worlds whose climate, arable land and finite ore decide their role, keep colonies fed through supply lines, research a seven-branch tech grid in real time and design their own ship blueprints. Alongside other players there are AI empires and pirate warlords, plus alliances, pacts, galaxy and alliance chat, and a player exchange with escrow. Play runs in seasons that wipe the galaxy and rank empires across six pillars, so it suits players who enjoy economic planning more than quick raids.
