What it is
SkyLords is a real-time browser strategy game in which you colonise up to 25 planets (50 with earned credits), design custom spaceship models, trade, spy and fight other players as well as the NPC SP Confederation. Play is organised into numbered rounds - round 249 was running at the time of this check - with credit bonuses for round winners and top clans, and the site says it has been going since 2002. It is free, with credits earned through play rather than bought.
