What it is
Mercatorio is a medieval economy MMO with pixel-art towns where the only real contest is commercial: there is no warfare or theft. You build production chains modelled on 11th-century methods, move goods by cart and ship, and buy and sell on per-town order-book markets where prices come purely from players' bids and asks, or lock in contracts with partners. The world advances in hourly ticks, so it suits planners who check in a few times a day. Each scored season lasts about three months and requires a season or week pass after a 48-hour free trial.
