What it is
Lusternia is one of Iron Realms' text-based multiplayer worlds, played through the browser-based Nexus client or any MUD client. Characters join cities or communes governed by elected players, pick an archetype with primary and secondary skills, and can take up several tradeskills from alchemy to tattoos; player-versus-player combat revolves around afflictions and damaged body parts rather than raw damage. A yearly overarching storyline plus regular events keep the world moving. The game is fully free to play, with credits earnable daily in-game or purchasable, alongside elite memberships.
