What it is
Shadowrealm: Age of Darkness is a one-developer text-and-menu RPG that swaps the usual mafia setting for a soot-choked fantasy realm. You spend energy that refills in real time on 24 chance-based deeds, climb eight ranks from Peasant to Wraithking, craft gear, trade on a player-run marketplace and risk jail, from which other players can break you out. Guild strongholds, a ranked arena with seasons, four-player heists and a prestige 'Ascension' reset give longer-term goals, and the developer states the world never wipes.
