What it is
Pentito is a text-based crime game set in 1930s America, where you start as a marked informant and work back up through crimes, heists, smuggling and crew jobs. Crime families compete for territory and rackets across several cities, and open wars between them make headlines in the game's own news. The world runs in rounds of several weeks, each ending with a winning family and a reset so newcomers start level. Premium and purchasable automation credits add convenience, though the core game is free.
