What it is
Mafia.org is a text-based multiplayer roleplaying game about gangsters and godfathers. Characters pull burglaries and bank jobs, buy weapons and equipment, fence loot, fend off G-men and rival hitmen, and can be killed permanently, with a new character started the next day. Street credits earned daily and godfather favours earned in play or bought by donation unlock conveniences such as bail or extra inventory. The developer ships balance and feature changes several times a week and logs them in dated patch notes.
